As the state's flagship university, the University of Maryland educates the most talented students from Maryland and beyond. Ranked 11th among all public U.S. universities and 37th worldwide in a recent international survey, the University of Maryland includes Nobel laureates and Pulitzer Prize winners. It takes advantage of its proximity to Washington, D.C., to educate tomorrow's leaders and address global challenges.
the University of Maryland and Internews
Internews has partnered with the University Of Maryland (UMD) to evaluate the ongoing ICTR program for the "Justice in Rwanda" project. Experts from the UMD Centre for Conflict Resolution have provided Internews staff with a questionnaire administered to select audience members both before and after each screening. The questionnaire helped Internews staff to determine which aspects of each screening are most effective, issues most important to screening audiences, and the success of the moderated discussions after each screening.
