Afghan radio connect project Internews Europe with Nai (Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan) conducted two online SPIP trainings at Nai training center in Kabul. The Radio Connect project aims linking the Afghan Diaspora abroad and Afghanistan’s local independent radio sector.

In July 2007 technical personel from six base radio stations and radio Sulipaygham learnt to use the Content Management System (CMS) SPIP to create a website plarform. Now trainees have enough knowledge to update internet site and even to train radio journalists and help local radio station in the country to create their own website. During Internews trainings radio stations technical staff learnt how to upload and edit articles and news stories, add documents, audio files and images.
