Internews Europe broadcasts online Afghanistan’s independent local radio stations, facilitatingcommunication between the Afghan Diaspora abroad and Afghanistan’s local independent radio sector, collect advertising and sponsorship over the Internet.
Radio Rabia Bulkhi was established in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan, in March 2003. It is now a self sustained station widely managed by women. It operates in Mazar Sharif, serving approximately 25 km and an estimated 220,000 listeners in Mazar city. Its programmes focus on women affairs, and environmental and social issues. Radio Rabia Bulkhi also assists NGOs, the private sector, the government, and local resident in running awareness programs, thus serving the community.
Radio Rabia Bulkhi is now proud to offer worldwide online services through its website, including domestic and international news services, online exchange of audio and text messages, advertisements, entertainment, cultural information and detailed information about its programs.
