Radio Bamyan, established in August 2003, serves a coverage area of approximately 25-40 km and an estimated 55,000 listeners. It is managed by a diverse staff in Bamyan.

Radio Bamyan widely focuses on local affairs and issues, work for the capacity building of the local residents and disseminating the problems of the local residents to government and concerned authorities.

Radio Bamyan also assists NGOs, private sector, government and local residents in running marketing campaigns and information dissemination programs, thus serving the community.

Radio Bamyan is now proud to offer worldwide online services through its website, including domestic and international news services, online exchange of audio and text messages, advertisements, entertainment, cultural information, end detailed information about its programs.
