Community Radio Journalists in Timor Leste

As a part of Timor Radio Connect project Internews Europe in partnership with the Timor Leste Media Development Center (TLMDC) organised two-day editorial training in Timor Leste.

    Journalists learnt how to structure online news and main principles of news reporting. In the end of the editorial training journalists could realise an interview and upload it online.

    Timor Radio Connect project is putting Timor’s 14 radio stations online on a platform which enables them to collect advertising and sponsorship over the Internet from Timorese diaspora individuals and businesses worldwide into some of the most remote parts of the world. In November 2007 Internews Europe launched Timor Radio Connect Internet portal.
