The Europe CrisisCamp Summit meets in Paris on the 27th, 28th & 29th of May 2011. This event aims to bring together the European members of the worldwide community of CrisisCamp and promote its development in Europe.
The objectives of these three days are : provide awareness on the use of new technologies in crisis situations ; share best practices and tools for citizen mobilization during an emergency (social networking, mapping, etc.), present concrete examples of mobilization (Haiti, Côte d'Ivoire, Japan, Italy, etc.) and discuss aspects of crisis management in workshops and discussions.
This event is open to all players of the humanitarian and emergency field who want to learn more and participate to the global movement of CrisisCommons.

A whole day of Barcamp, self organized workshops, in parallel to a break out room dedicated all day to discussions on missing people.
