On December 1st, 2011, Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) and the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), in partnership with other organizations, will host the 1st annual Climate Communications Day as a parallel event at the UN Climate Summit in Durban, South Africa.

 

Some of the guests are: Jonathan Pershing (US State Department), John Hay (UNFCCC Secretariat), Chris Librie (Hewlett Packard), Randy Olson (Scientist turned film-maker - via video), Lucia Grenna (Connect4Climate), Professor Jacqueline McGlade (European Environment Agency), and David McCauley (Asian Development Bank).

This conference will offer numerous presentations and workshops, focusing on the message and the medium in which to present news about climate change. To check the full day’s program, click here.
