Internews Europe is a partner of the 2011 Small Media Symposium organised by the Small Media Initiative, which supports the free flow of information in closed societies.
The Small Media Symposium will be held at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London on 8 – 9 April 2011. It will bring together theorists and practitioners across all disciplines and sectors, including academics, activists and developers, to foster discussions about small media theory, practice and innovation.
The Small Media Initiative invites contributions on a wide range of topics and approaches related to small media. The call for abstracts can be found online at http://www.smallmediainitiative.com/call-for-abstracts/. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 10 March 2011.
