TV BROADCASTS
In Armenia the programme includes several types of TV production:
The Public Television Company of Armenia produces and broadcasts twelve 52-minute-long monthly talk shows, ’European Formula’, that include live interactive elements such as space-bridges, interviews and studio-discussions.
Armenian Public Television has the largest coverage in Armenia and a potential audience of over 2 million people. Its satellite broadcasts can be watched also by an additional 3 million Armenian speakers in the CIS, Europe, North America, Middle East, North Africa and Australia. Armenian Public Television targets young and active viewers.
’European Formula’ provides information on a wide range of topics, including coverage on human rights in Armenia and the experience of other ENP and EU countries in this area; what Armenia, as well as other ENP and EU countries are doing to face the economic crisis; issues concerning environmental protection and development; questions related to European integration for ENP countries; the effectiveness of Armenia’s self-governance system and the use of EU models; judicial reform and other. Guests in studio include citizens, as well as Armenian and European experts and representatives.

Internews Armenia produces 27 one-minute-long Public Service Announcements that Armenia’s Public Television broadcasts since May 2009. The PSAs are also broadcast by cultural broadcaster ’Ararat’ that is associated with Public TV. Each PSA is broadcast at least 20 times by each channel.
PSA on Schengen Agreements
A total of 24 programmes will be aired weekly by Public Television of Armenia on Mondays in late evening prime time, at 11:30 PM. The broadcasts will be repeated twice. The 2nd broadcast will be on Thursdays at 7:30 pm on the terrestrial channel, and the 3rd broadcast will take place on Saturdays at 10 pm on satellite
RADIO BROADCASTS
Internews Armenia, in partnership with Radio Hay produces and broadcasts 70-minute-long interactive programmes with elements of talk-show, radio documentary drama, newscasts and in-calls. The number of episodes to be broadcast is 60, starting from March 2009, from Monday through Friday. Segments of the broadcasts (radio drama, radio feature, news) are aired as individual products during the week and then merged into the final format. The radio documentary drama segment is 15 minutes long. News reports are incorporated into the news programmes of the radio company. The documentary series is aired on Thursdays at 4:00 pm. The full version of the programme is aired on Saturdays at 11:00 am and re-broadcast on Mondays at 11:00am.
The broadcasts of Radio Hay cover 85 % of Armenia’s territory and are popular in the capital, Yerevan, where they enjoy ratings of 13-14% among a population of over one million.
The broadcasts have covered ENP-related issues, including environmental polluction; the reform of the education system following the Bologna Treaty; local governance and municipal elections; improving relations between Armenia and Turkey; local conflicts seen from a European perspective; the East Neighbourhood Programme; macroeconomic stability as a precondition for European integration; judicial reform; energy sector strategy; religious tolerance and others.
NEWSPAPER ARTICLES
Starting from March 2009 the newspaper 168 Zham (168 Hours) has published a monthly supplement, ’European Window’. The supplement is part of each last Thursday edition, which is the largest (16 pages). Two central pages (pages 8-9) are devoted to ’European Window’.
